We the Rebel Record staff believe in the freedom of speech and will publish what we believe in; we promise to explore all sides of the story and to report fairly. We respect a person's right to the truth. We will honor the confidentiality of all subjects and respect the right of the public to have their voices heard and recognized.

The Rebel Record welcomes letters to the editor. The letter will be reviewed by the class and discussed before publication. The editors will review it for one last time and decide whether the letter will be published or not. Letters to the editor must be signed when submitted to staff, but the Rebel Record honors requests to be anonymous in the paper. The paper has the right to edit letters to fit the page and if grammatically incorrect.
